We feel that 3 cameras is a great starting point for inside a barn offering more angles to see what is going on. Nothing is more frustrating than having only one camera when a heifer lays down in the wrong direction so that you can’t see what she’s doing, making you have to go down and disturb her anyways. You can easily add more cameras in the future.

These antennas can communicate up to 5 miles away from each other as long as they have unobstructed line of sight between them. Distance will not affect video quality (30ft or 5 miles, you will still have high def video). The kit will also come with a NVR(Network Video Recorder) and monitor. This program will allow you to view and control cameras (pan, tilt, zoom) as well as setup motion recording if wanted (many people point cameras at gas tanks when not used for calving). The NVR will also allow you to put the cameras online for viewing and controlling from your phone or tablet device even when you are away from your house. For example you can be at your kids Basketball game or even be having a cold one at the local bar with your best friend Fred while watching your heifers on your phone! Works with both Android and Iphones. Satellite internet will work, but requires extra setup, please let us know when you order if you do have any type of satellite internet, even Starlink.
